ALWAYS POSTED A WEEK EARLIER ON PATREON

Podcast Updates

This past week I had the pleasure of having two shows this week.  On Tuesday I chatted with Jorge Zevallos, an incredibly talented artist, and comic creator. We talked about his latest action-packed one-shot sci-fi comic ‘Wall Breakers’

On Thursday, it was great to chat with the children’s book author, Colleen Marie Olinski. Despite the fact I had the wrong mic on, she was a great interview. She was here to talk about her latest children’s book, ‘A Wolf Named Elvis’ which was successfully funded on Kickstarter.

Project Updates

Working a bit more on putting my dad joke book together.  I’m also working on another project of ‘G’ rated exclamations.  Right now, I’m taking pictures of my Toilet Paper Head characters in shocking gestures.

What I’m reading

This past week, I started to do some research on the ‘Powered By The Apocalypse’ (PBTA) game system.  I backed a few years ago the game, ‘Flying Circus’ which has uses the PBTA system.  It is interesting from what I am knowing about it so far.

Erika Chappell did a fantastic job designing the game and she did a great job putting in the intricacies of aerial combat in the rules-light system.  The book is 300 pages long and is an amazing example of a steampunk setting.

I made a role-playing game in college that I am going to try and turn into a PBTA game. More to come on that later.

Personal Updates

2021-09-13_07-50-56_410.JPEG

From a weight loss journey perspective, I am excited to be down to 209 lbs!  The lowest I ever got to in my adult life was 203 lbs and I am eager to see myself get down to below 200; which I have not done since high school.

I’ve done a bit more plugging away at organizing more Lego sets to sell on eBay. Sales have been a bit slow on eBay lately, and I chatted with my friend who also sells on eBay and he chalks it up to the time of year.  He may be right.
