Storycomic Weekly Newsletter: November 7th

This week I’ve been reading the first five issues of Marvel’s 1974 Man-Thing series, and one of the things I’ve enjoyed most is how Man-Thing himself connects all these wildly different stories together.

He isn’t really a traditional superhero. Most of the time, he doesn’t even understand the larger situation going on around him. Instead, people keep crossing into his swamp, and Man-Thing becomes this almost silent force moving through their stories.
