A Thanksgiving Pause and What's Coming Next

Thanksgiving Schedule and Backlog of Shows As many of you know, I've recently adjusted my recording schedule to focus on Thursdays. This past Thursday coincided with Thanksgiving, which meant that we took a brief pause in recording new episodes. Thanks to our proactive scheduling, we have a backlog of shows that have already been recorded. These episodes are all set and ready to be released over the next couple of weeks, ensuring that you'll continue to enjoy the content without any interruptions.

Booked and Busy Through Mid-February In more exciting news, I'm thrilled to share that the show is booked out until mid-February! This is a fantastic development, and it's something I'm incredibly grateful for. It means not only a steady stream of engaging and diverse content for you, our listeners, but also a testament to the growing interest and support for our podcast.

As we look ahead, I'm filled with enthusiasm for the upcoming episodes. We have a fantastic lineup of guests and topics that I'm eager for you to hear. The diversity of stories, experiences, and insights that these episodes bring is something I'm particularly proud of.

I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your continued support and engagement. It's because of your interest and feedback that the podcast continues to grow and evolve. I'm looking forward to sharing these upcoming episodes with you and hearing your thoughts on them.

Exciting Progress and New Ventures

I'm thrilled to share some exciting updates on our ongoing projects and new ventures. Your support and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind these developments, and I can't wait to bring you along on this journey.

Firstly, I'm happy to announce that the standard covers of our latest comic book have been successfully mailed out to all our backers. It's been a rewarding process, and I hope you enjoy the fruits of our collective hard work and creativity.

Variant Covers in Progress

Next on the agenda is the ordering of the variant covers. This phase is currently underway, and I'm focusing on ensuring these special editions are as striking and unique as the standard ones. I'm confident that these variant covers will be a fantastic addition to your collection.

New Online Store Launch

In an exciting development, I've launched a new store site on my website. This platform will feature a selection of my books, making it easier for you to access and purchase them. I'm quite pleased with how the site turned out and believe it will provide a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Feel free to visit and explore the new offerings!

'Daddest Jokes' Illustrations and Launch Plans

Lastly, I'm making steady progress on 'Daddest Jokes.' A few illustrations are already complete, and they're shaping up to be both humorous and visually appealing. The plan is to launch this project in the spring, and I'm putting in all efforts to ensure it's a delightful and entertaining read for all ages.

Review of David Trotter's "Birthrights": A Vivid Tale of Fantasy and Passion

David Trotter's "Birthrights" is not just a novel; it's a vivid journey into a world where fantasy and reality intertwine in the most intriguing ways. Set in the bustling city-state of Tur'Mor, the book is a masterful blend of detailed world-building, complex characters, and a plot rich with political intrigue and forgotten magic.

The city of Tur'Mor is a character in itself, depicted with such vividness that one can almost hear the clamor of its markets and feel the tension between its opulent Upper districts and the gritty Southend. Trotter's portrayal of a city governed by both political figureheads and the Holy Council adds a compelling layer of complexity, creating a backdrop where power, corruption, and redemption intertwine.

At the heart of this tale is a forgotten warrior, whose journey of self-discovery and trust in a city rife with secrets is both poignant and relatable. The inclusion of 'The Crew', a diverse group of misfits, adds a dynamic element to the story, showcasing Trotter's skill in creating characters that are both diverse and deeply connected.

What truly sets "Birthrights" apart is Trotter's evident passion for storytelling. Every page of this novel reflects his love for the craft. His ability to create a world where myth and reality coexist seamlessly is a testament to his skill as a writer. As a fan of his work, I can attest to the immersive nature of his storytelling – it's clear that he writes not just with his mind but with his heart.

While the novel's pacing is deliberate, it builds up to a narrative that is both intense and rewarding. The detailed world-building, while initially slowing the pace, lays the foundation for a story that captivates and enthralls.

A Week of Progress and Thanksgiving Celebrations

Firstly, I'm pleased to report that I've successfully mailed out the copies of my books to the backers. It's always a fulfilling moment to see a project reach its supporters, and I'm eager to hear their thoughts and feedback.

On the professional front, I've been making significant strides in understanding the nuances of the radio station. It's a fascinating journey, delving into the technicalities and operational aspects. I'm beginning to identify areas that need tweaking and updating. With these insights, I'm formulating plans to enhance revenue streams and improve the quality of our programming. It's an exciting phase, and I'm looking forward to implementing these changes.

Thanksgiving Celebrations

This week was also special because of Thanksgiving. We spent the day at my parents' house, embracing the warmth of family and the joy of togetherness. It was a delightful time, filled with good food, laughter, and gratitude. These moments are always cherished, reminding us of the importance of family and the simple pleasures of life.

Recording with My Daughters

In a particularly fun and heartwarming activity, I recorded some liners with my daughters. While these aren't on the air yet, the experience of recording their voices was incredibly enjoyable. It's not just about the end product but also about the memories we created while working on this little project together.
