Project Updates

This past week was basically a cut and paste of the week before.  I have been faithful to the Inktober challenge and It looks like in my Vermont Comic Creators group, it has slowed down to only two of us producing artwork for the daily prompts.  It is the artist Sarah Rosendahl and me.

What I’m reading

This past week I cracked open ‘The Vermont Owner’s Manual’.   A satirical political book was written by Frank Bryan and Bill Mares.  Although it was written in 2000, and much like political cartoons, some references are dated, I have enjoyed seeing that some of the commentaries of Vermont politics remain unchanged.  Despite that it feels somewhat of a time capsule, as a native Vermonter, I find some of the observations and humor about my home state refreshing and on point.

Now living smack in the middle of my 40’s I also understand many more of the witticisms.

Personal Updates

Well, I’m down to 202 pounds!  I have now officially at my lowest weight in the last two decades! I am proud of myself for finally finding a way to eat healthily.

On the work side of things, we have been fortunate to have missed the ‘Great Resignation’ so far.  While other agencies have vacancies of over 50%, we have been steady with no resignations.
